Never was a problem until I got a new one last year! It didn’t turn off I had to switch off the breakers. Either way don’t do more then 3 hours!

Mine was the drain motor. If you’re underneath cleaning the coin trap-touch the motor to see if it’s hot. Mine was very hot and struggled to run.

I would try this, unplugging it for ten minutes and plug it back in and if that does not work try this next step. Unplug it and wait for ten minutes the pour about a cup of warm water in the soap dispenser, you should be able to see it running down inside the washer. Plug it back in, that's it. If you are still getting an error or the door will not unlock by itself you may have to unlock it manually as seen in the video, you might as well take the cloths out once you get it unlocked. Also just unplug it while you going through the process to unlock it manually and save yourself ten minutes. Here's a couple tips to help avoid this problem in the future. 1. make sure to use HE detergent AND use the recommended amount, adding more is not going to get your clothes cleaner. Use the measuring cup provided, using that push bulb to put in laundry detergent is not a good habit. 2. The laundry detergent should be the last thing you do, if you put it in first it will just run down inside the washer and it will not mix with the water, it will also drain into the drain pump which cannot pump out the heavy undiluted soap thus causing an error. Remember the washer pumps water into the soap dispenser so it's mixes and is not so dense, if you put the soap in first by the time you get your clothes in it's already drained inside your washer and into the pump.

Oh my goodness Scott! My best friend's fridge runs a LOT, and seemingly loud from what I can tell. I'm gonna go pay a visit, suggest this video, and that we inspect and clean under that fridge!!! Because you replaced the whole motor, with the Hall sensor, I'm unsure of the diagnosis. To get the LE error, I'd think that the spindle was not turning the rotor completely. You did mention a ratcheting sound. For clarification, did the splines look truly stripped--as opposed to just worn--as if the rotor wasn't rotating 100% with the spindle? Also, for clarification, the stator didn't need replacement?

Do you recommend running the recalibrate procedure? I read about it online and am about to tackle this job.

I had the same problem (without the screen) vent was full of lint. My dryer vent lines up with the wall penetration so there's just a 8-10 inch piece of rigid metal duct connecting them. I pulled the front off my dryer and used a leaf blower to blow through the fan and out the back. Clean as a whistle and huge improvement in performance.

This was a great video as it saved me from going through with an ignitor replacement. Remember to unplug the dryer as he says. Buzzzz!!! Great help!

So I ordered the valve from Amazon for $30. Couldn’t get the part you listed but went to the large improvement store and got Everbilt 3/8 in mip x 3/8 in fip street elbow (LFA-78265) and a 3/8 in od x 3/8 in mip adaptor (LFA-123). Followed the video and bingo! Thank you for also saving marriages!!!

Hi, I measure volts with multimeter that goes to the inlet valve, and its says 100 v, maybe for the second goes to 200...What do you think, is it some other problem, some relays maybe?

any idea what piece is this it was loose in bottom of drain

Thank you! We found a penny clogging that little hole at the bottom. Thank you for your explanation as to where to find the gray cover in the back of older models. That is what I had. I only needed to watch the video once to understand what to do. My young adult son watched the video with me and helped extract the offending penny. Thank you for the video. Although there was no debris in the impeller on my Bosch, I checked the whole area and found that the rubber check valve on the drain side was stuck due to not having used the dishwasher for a while. The symptom was the same as you describe in the video.

I cleaned mine and water still comming out of air gap 😢. What else should i do? We even bought a new air gap thing

Buying either this exact model or another similar one tomorrow. Already claims to have new gaskets and belts. Are there any other common problems with these?

I have a Samsung range that runs on natural gas before I converted it to propane and when I want to use it and turn the knob,it makes that clicking sound which of course comes from the Igniter and instead of lighting up,it just flare up boom just like that to the extent that if affects other burners at times instead of just one burner.I have tried different things but I have not been able to identify the problem so I can't solve it.I will really appreciate it if you can help me out about this situation.I have not been able to use the gas range for a long time now.I will really appreciate your help.

I remember watching something on UA-cam last year wear a lady turnt on there self cleaning oven before she left for work but her daughter which was pregnant at the time was there but upstairs sleeping and there self-cleaning oven caught on fire the daughter woke up and couldn't even get out her bed room door or the window because her stomach was too big she was like 8 months pregnant it was so sad to listen to that 911 call it seem like it took for ever for the fire department to get there....Thank God they was able to save her and her baby ..so he is right them self-cleaning ovens can be dangerous..

I dont know whats wrong with mine i did all the steps everything is good but for some reason when i put it to cold(blue) it blows hot and when i put hot(red) it blows cold im literally stuck like im glad it blows cold now but its backwards, do know the reason to this?

If the issue is the tubs bearing seal, you might consider calling a pro. I had my, if I remember correctly, SG 1000, top dryer bottom washer leak water badly. This was about 2 decades ago. Sears charged $500, they only delivered the part on the appointed day. Took another day or so for the guy to show. Got half off because of my time off work to be in. They have over 100 service folks in the L.A. area but only 2 work on Maytag. The cap at the bottom of the spindle has to be broken off, frozen into place. Hit the spindle and it's over. Needless to say they got the job done. 😮 Advice I got from the repairman. Powdered detergent is largely cardboard that would ruin the bearing/seal. Use liquid detergent only.
